1. Overview

——
The Problem

Six Months.
Multiple Projects.
One Designer.

This case study brings together my work as the sole UI/UX designer within the Digitalization & IT practice at Telekom Strategy Consulting. It shows how I worked across multiple AI-enabled tools, translating diverse business needs into clear product experiences across UX, UI, prototyping, and implementation.

2. Role Beyond UX

2. Role Beyond UX

——
The Problem

Uncharted Territory

I came from academia, where design moved through research and reflection. TSC moved differently: faster briefs, shorter cycles, multiple projects at once.

That pace changed my role too. I wasn’t only designing screens. I was framing problems, shaping workflows, prototyping ideas, working with stakeholders, and increasingly helping carry designs into implementation.

3. Key Challenges

——
The Problem

Moving Fast Through Enterprise Constraints

Challange

The project pace was fast, but enterprise dependencies were not. Permissions, licenses, approvals, technical setup, and stakeholder alignment often moved on a different timeline.

Solution

The work moved fast, but the environment around it often didn’t. A small team was balancing parallel projects and many stakeholders while permissions, licenses, technical setup, approvals, and existing systems could take time to put in place.

Aligning Many Voices

Challange

Each tool involved multiple consultants and stakeholders, often with different priorities, expectations, and ideas about what the solution should become. With several projects moving in parallel, reaching alignment without slowing the work became part of the design challenge.

Solution

I developed a set of stakeholder alignment principles to help keep decisions moving: involve the right people early, make ideas tangible through prototypes, focus feedback on the decision at hand, and keep communication purposeful.
